These courses are designed to provide the participant with an overview of the fundamental OSHA standards for the Construction Industry and assist you in enhancing your compliance efforts. These courses are taught by an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer.
OSHA's Construction Industry standards and an overview of the requirements of the most frequently referenced standards will also be addressed.
As of January 01, 2017, the Foundations of Safety Leadership was approved as an OSHA 30-hour elective module by the OSHA Directorate of Training and Education. If you would like to know more about this new module, please click here.
Who Should Attend?
Safety Professionals, Instructors, Managers, Supervisors, Project Managers, SSHO's, Construction Workers or anyone having the responsibility for OSHA compliance in a Construction setting should attend the OSHA Construction Industry 10-hour course or OSHA 30-hour course.
The tables below indicate the topics that are required by OSHA for each course.
These courses provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the construction industry. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.
The participant will receive course materials covered. Upon satisfactory completion of this course, each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion and an OSHA course completion card.

All training for the 30-hour course must total the required hours of instruction. This is a 5 day course. | 30 |
The OSHA 10-Hour Course requires that each participant have a specific number of required topics. These are topics are noted in the chart above. You are allowed up to 2 more choices from the Electives topics at one half hour each to complete a total of 10 hours. All 10-hour classes must be done over at least 2 training days. Participants will receive a participant workbook and handouts. Upon satisfactory completion, the participant will receive a Certificate of Completion and a 10-Hour OSHA card. A passing grade of 70% is required to be successful.
The OSHA 30-Hour Course requires that each participant have a specific number of required topics. These are topics are noted in the chart above. You are allowed to choose 2 or more topics from the Electives topics at one half hour each to complete a total of 30 hours. All 30-hour classes must be done over at least 5 training days. Participants will receive a current copy of the OSHA 1926 Construction standard, a participant workbook and handouts. Upon satisfactory completion, the participant will receive a Certificate of Completion and a 30-Hour OSHA card. A passing grade of 70% is required to be successful.
